FSAS - Raffle

 

 Foundation for Saline Area Schools (FSAS) “Kids Who Read….Succeed” Strategic Grant for 2011-12...........50/50 Raffle

"Kids Who Read…Succeed!” .......That's the motto for this year's FSAS Strategic Grant Award supporting literacy. The Foundation has accepted the challenge to raise $70,000 during the 2011-12 grant cycle to help build leveled reading libraries in classrooms across the district. The goal is to put more books than ever before into the hands of teachers and students to build the most literate community of learners possible.

In an effort to help FSAS achieve this goal, we are holding a very special 50/50 Raffle.  Only 200 tickets will be sold at $100 each with the lucky winner winning up to $10,000 while at the same time helping FSAS raise up to the same amount towards “Kids Who Read….Succeed!”  The drawing will take place at our 2nd annual winter gala event at Lake Forest Golf Club on February 11, 2012, “Read Your Heart Out.” The winner does not need to be present to win.  Tickets are on sale now and will be until they sell out or until the event itself, so get one while they last! 

It’s not every day you have a 1/200 chance of winning up to $10,000 while also supporting such a worthwhile cause!

Saline Middle School Mission Statement

At Saline Middle School, we believe that middle level education must respect the unique developmental issues facing early adolescents. These students are experiencing multiple changes causing them to face many life changing challenges. As educators, we feel it is our responsibility to educate the whole child, not just teaching information, but teaching life lessons that will assist them in becoming successful adults.
